large antique solid silver pocket watch
, dating to the
late Victorian period (circa 1890s)

The watch features a classic
white enamel dial with black Roman numerals
and a
subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock
, giving it a timeless traditional appearance.
The
dial presents well overall
, with a small enamel chip around the
1 o’clock position
(please refer to the photographs). The original hands are present and the dial remains bright and attractive.
The watch is housed in a
solid silver case with clear hallmarks inside
, including the lion passant indicating sterling silver. The case shows typical age-related wear consistent with a watch of this period but closes correctly.
The watch
winds, sets and runs
, although timekeeping accuracy has not been tested.
As with all vintage pocket watches I sell, this example is
offered unserviced
and may benefit from a clean or service if intended for regular use.
